Canadian Pilot Project Enhances Safety of People in Police Custody

Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada (May 3, 2024) - The Thunder Bay Police Service (TBPS) today announced the launch of a pilot program deploying an innovative, first-generation technology-driven solution designed to enhance the safety and dignity of people in custody. The CustodyProtect^TM pilot project is implemented in collaboration with 4Sight Labs and is believed to be the first of its kind implemented in Canada.
