Canadian Pilot Project Enhances Safety of People in Police Custody

Thunder Bay Police Service announces the deployment of the CustodyProtect™ system, solidifying its commitment to detainee wellness.


Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada (May 3, 2024) - The Thunder Bay Police Service (TBPS) today announced the launch of a pilot program deploying an innovative, first-generation technology-driven solution designed to enhance the safety and dignity of people in custody. The CustodyProtectTM pilot project is implemented in collaboration with 4Sight Labs and is believed to be the first of its kind implemented in Canada.
